When the Review kept all the power shut-off stories available for free last fall - that's when I became a subscriber.

I'll be sad to miss the weigh-off, too. But the pride and prize money from winning means a lot more to a struggling farmer than an attendee like you or me.
What a terrible choice for a photo. Anyone who only saw the headline + photo on the home page would come away thinking that Our Lady of the Pillar was completely disregarding social distancing/etc requirements.
What? I bought crab there just weekend also. At least at the time, there was only a handful of people around and they were standing at appropriate distances. This just doesn't seem necessary.

My only concern about the proposed parklet is that it will "read" as seating for Cafe Society rather than public space. I hope efforts are made to present it as an obviously public space and the Cafe Society staff understand that the seating is not reserved for their customers.
I'm not clear on what has changed? Will there be more community offerings happening at the space now?
