Cunha wrestlers shine
The Cunha Intermediate School wrestling team won its first Mid-Peninsula Intermediate League Championship since 2003 on Saturday.
Champions included Ivan Landin at 90 pounds, Lane Miller, 152 pounds, and Marcus Andrade, 193 pounds.
Emilio Mendoza (91 pounds), Isaiah Bautista (106), Kaylani Over (116), and Lenny Mandujano (104) all placed second. Gabriel Garcia-Procopio (118), Tristan Reilly (110), Lilly Bradshaw (116), Zach “Brody” Broad (138), Felix Sehonestein (128), and Sebastian “CB” Contreras (76) all placed third. Dante Geronimo (160) and JT Baker (152) were fourth in the tourney.
