Cougars swim away from San Mateo

The Half Moon Bay High School varsity girls water polo team was too much for San Mateo on Thursday, beating the Panthers, 16-6.

The Cougars played an intense aggressive and smart game. Goalie Jennifer Martuscelli had 11 blocks, two assists and a steal. Scorers included Julie Raffetto, Tess Hilvert, Sophia Pappalardo, Lily Nelson, Tess Sorfleet and Kacie Sorfleet.
