The Cabrillo Education Foundation AAA Little League baseball team scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth to extend a one-run lead in a pivotal inning at Smith Field on Saturday.

Josh Formolo had four hits, scored three runs and made several great plays in the field. Dominic Seaton had a solid day in the field, including his first catch of the season.

Sam Briggs collected three hits and recorded two unassisted outs at first base. Gavin Vreeburg had three hits and made an excellent play in the field, throwing out a speedy runner.

Devin Melo went 3-for-4 with three singles and made an epic out at home plate for Beach House. Greyson Rossman had a double and two singles. Cypress Stefanick had two singles earning himself the game ball. Walden Teper went 4-for-4 with two singles, a double and a triple.

Chase Barger also earned himself the game ball by showing his defensive skills. Eli Blake, Wyatt Gunning, Escher Blaskower, Camdyn Blake and Tristan Chaney each singled.
