Reckless driving leads to spin out, citation 

Four vehicles were reportedly speeding recklessly at around 2 a.m. on Nov. 11 along Kings Mountain Road. A deputy on patrol was able to contact one driver who reportedly spun out and was stuck on a hillside. Another driver was located later. Both drivers were 20-year-old unincorporated San Mateo County residents and each was cited and released on a promise to appear in court.

A 30-year-old Half Moon Bay man was cited for reportedly driving with a suspended license.

A physical fight reportedly erupted between two sisters — one of whom is still a juvenile. The sisters were separated and neither reportedly wished to seek prosecution.

A 25-year-old Santa Cruz man was reportedly found to be in possession of a glass pipe and methamphetamine. He was cited and released on his promise to appear in court. 

11:10 a.m., Nov. 11, Naomi Patridge Trail 

A deputy approached a 43-year-old Half Moon Bay man who was reportedly in possession of a methamphetamine pipe. The man was cited and released on his promise to appear in court. 

12:50 a.m., Nov. 15, Highway 92

A deputy contacted a 43-year-old Half Moon Bay man who was reportedly wanted on probation with search and seizure conditions. Authorities say that the man was found in possession of a glass pipe. He was cited and released on his promise to appear in court. 

DUI

7:42 p.m., Nov. 11, Third Avenue

An allegedly intoxicated 35-year-old Half Moon Bay man collided with a parked car. He was arrested and transported to the San Mateo Count jail. 

False registration

10:30 a.m., Nov. 9, Highway 92

A 42-year-old San Jose man was cited for reportedly displaying a 2018 registration tab on his vehicle when his registration expired in 2016. 

Hit and run

5:40 p.m., Nov. 11, Highway 1

A driver rear-ended another driver, which caused the second driver to bump into a third driver. 

Missing juvenile 

5:08 p.m., Nov. 9

A juvenile was reported missing but was later found. 

Petty theft

4:43 p.m., Nov. 16, Bloom Lane

Someone nabbed a Go-Pro camera and three DVDs that had been checked out from the library. The loss was estimated at $580.

11:49 p.m., Nov. 7, Highway 92

A deputy made contact with a 36-year-old Half Moon Bay man who was reportedly wanted on a misdemeanor warrant out of San Mateo County. The man was cited and released on his promise to appear in court. 

3:48 p.m., Nov. 8, Highway 92

Two Half Moon Bay residents in their 40s were reportedly found to be wanted on misdemeanor warrants. They were both arrested and transported to the San Mateo County jail. 

12:30 p.m., Nov. 9, St. John Avenue

A 52-year-old Half Moon Bay man was arrested and transported to the San Mateo County jail after a deputy made contact with him. He was reportedly wanted on two misdemeanor warrants out of San Mateo County. 

3:34 a.m., Nov. 14, Highway 92

A deputy approached a 22-year-old Pescadero man who was reportedly wanted on a misdemeanor warrant out of San Mateo County. The man was arrested and transported to the San Mateo County jail.

5:50 p.m., Nov. 16, La Honda Road

A 57-year-old La Honda man was cited for allegedly displaying a 2018 registration tab on a vehicle that expired in 2017.

6:31 p.m., Nov. 12, Marine Boulevard

A deputy contacted a 26-year-old Moss Beach woman who was reportedly wanted on a misdemeanor warrant out of San Mateo County. She was arrested and transported to the San Mateo County jail.

12:54 a.m., Nov. 16, Yale Avenue 

A deputy approached two people who were sitting in a parked vehicle late at night and determined that the vehicle’s registration expired in 2018 even though a 2019 sticker was displayed. Authorities say the owner, a 56-year-old San Juan Bautista woman, was also found to be in possession of a methamphetamine pipe. The woman was cited and released on her promise to appear in court.

8:35 p.m., Nov. 10, Capistrano Road

A deputy stopped a driver for an alleged lighting violation and determined that the 53-year-old El Granada man was under the influence. The man allegedly failed field sobriety tests and was arrested and transported to the San Mateo County jail.

11:51 a.m., Nov. 11, Airport Street

A 61-year-old Princeton man was cited for reportedly driving with a suspended license.

DUI

12:42 a.m., Nov. 11, Eighth Street

A deputy stopped a driver who reportedly crossed over double yellow lines and drifted left to right.  Authorities say that the driver — a 24-year-old Half Moon Bay man — appeared to be intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. The man was arrested and transported to First Chance.

1:21 a.m., Nov. 12, Highway 1

A deputy stopped a driver and reportedly discovered that the 41-year-old Moss Beach man was driving on a suspended license. The man was also reportedly on probation with search and seizure terms and found in possession of suspected methamphetamine. The man was cited and released on his promise to appear in court.

Vehicle burglary

2:30 p.m., Nov. 11, Gray Whale Cove

Someone smashed a vehicle window and took approximately $894 worth of items. The suspect also reportedly attempted to use the victim’s credit cards online.
