Congratulatory balloons sparkled in the summer sun in the Pilarcitos High School courtyard as families filled the room to support the 10 students graduating this year. Principal Rajan Bechar and Cabrillo Unified School District Superintendent Jane Yuster delivered speeches that encouraged each young adult to strive for their passions while taking life's lessons and failures in stride. For the fifth year in a row, each graduating student was gifted a personal laptop to help them work in their post-secondary school life.
