Shanna Nardone says she was looking to be part of a group of career and family women with shared experiences that come from running a home and a business.

Certified life coach Shanna Nardone, a former denizen of the corporate world, does not work on Fridays.

“That’s my day with my daughter,” she said. “We go to the beach, we go to the woods, we go on bike rides. I want to show up for my kids.”

April Seager is a staff writer covering events and endeavors in the Coastside community. She received a master of arts in German literature from Brigham Young University and completed graduate work in German studies at Washington University in St. Louis.
