Local state representatives will be holding a panel discussion to talk about what it will take to keep the Coastside connected and resilient, even in emergencies.
State Sen. Jerry Hill and Assemblymen Marc Berman and Kevin Mullin will hold the panel discussion along with representatives of utility companies and key agencies.
“We are convening this forum to provide answers to the community about what utilities and agencies learned from the recent disruptions in service and what will be done to keep our Coastside communities connected,” Hill said in a prepared statement. “We all know what prompted this gathering. We are interested in solutions and moving forward – not excuses, or answers that are no longer applicable to the safety and needs of our Coastside communities today.”
The meeting is planned for 7 p.m. on April 25 at the Half Moon Bay High School, multi-use room, 1 Lewis Foster Drive. The event is open to the public and no RSVP is required.
