Two men -- reportedly masked and armed with a handgun and knife -- allegedly robbed from another driver and her passenger on Highway 1 on Sunday night.

The incident occurred at around 9:30 p.m. between Half Moon Bay and San Gregorio at Tunitas Creek Road.

The victims were driving southbound on the highway when they were reportedly tailed by the suspects. Those suspects were driving a black Ford Crown Victoria with tinted windows and no license plates.

The victims pulled over to let the tailgating vehicle pass, but the driver reportedly cut in front of the victims and stopped.

The suspects then reportedly exited the back passenger doors of their vehicle and forced the woman who was driving to roll down her window. One suspect held his gun to the woman’s head and demanded her purse and cellphone.

The other suspect held a knife against the passenger’s neck and demanded he hand over his wallet and cellphone. Authorities say the passenger received minor scraps on his neck from the knife.

After the robbery, the suspects continued south on Highway 1.
