Thanks to scholarships awarded by the Cabrillo Education Foundation, 76 Coastside students will receive a helping hand in their pursuit of higher education and careers. The nonprofit was able to provide students with more than $35,000 in scholarships through a partnership.
“CEF is very grateful to College Futures and Tri-Counties Bank for providing us with grant money to make these scholarships possible,” said Executive Director Corrine Bucher. “We share a common goal of helping all Coastside students be successful and fulfill their dreams.” This year, college-bound students at Half Moon Bay High School, Pescadero High School and Pilarcitos High School were awarded scholarships, which they can use toward tuition or other expenses like textbooks, supplies, housing and transportation.
