Jakob Esko comes to the Coastside after a stint as executive chef at W Barcelona.
Esko was raised in Sweden and his career spans 26 years and has taken him all over the world. He has been recognized for excellence in management as well as in the kitchen. During his tenure as executive chef at Capella Singapore, Esko was named one of the 10 best Western Cuisine chefs by the Hospitality Asia Platinum awards.
Esko held positions at numerous Michelin-star restaurants, including The Square in London and the Ulriksdals Wärdshus in Stockholm before moving to the United States in 2012.
