Allyson Sarabia was awarded the Karen Villa Most Valuable Player Award for this year’s Half Moon Bay Girls Softball League.

All awards were handed out at the Aug. 6 end-of-season ceremony.

Sarabia was a key member of the Demons, which won the Minor League title.

The Steve Imamura Award for Dedication, Inspiration and Leadership when to Maile Bowers of the Colts in the Minis Division and Olivia Hedding of the Cubs in the Minors Division.

The Jennifer Borges Award for Most Improved Player went to Claire Yerby of the Coasters in the Minis Division and Sophia Pintarelli of the Cubs in the Minors Division.

The Brianne Berger Rookie of the Year Award went to Rachel Rodrigues of the Kittens.

The Colts won the Mini Division and were formally recognized for their achievement.
