Bid for colorful adventures at Farallone. Hawaiian condos, Lake Tahoe houses, a crabbing adventure, a private airplane tour of San Francisco and more could be yours at the annual auction. If orthodontic work or a classic Bingo night is more your style, that’s available too. Or, come for dinner and musical entertainment. Check out the event from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at the I.D.E.S. Hall, 735 Main St., in Half Moon Bay. Tickets are $30 in advance or $40 at the door. The money benefits art, science, music, P.E., classroom aides and more. The goal is to raise $34,000.

Pay attention to the Dolphins’ word of the month: perseverance.

“Perseverance means determination until the end. With just four months left in the school year, it is so important to send this message of resolve to our students,” Principal Natalie Zisko wrote in a newsletter for parents.
