A 20-year-old man from Half Moon Bay was caught with a small amount of marijuana.

A woman asked for help finding her boyfriend after he ran out following an argument. Sheriff’s deputies couldn’t locate the man.

Someone stole a license plate off a vehicle overnight.

A 23-year-old woman from Pescadero was arrested for being drunk in public.

6:50 p.m., Jan. 19, Highway 1

A 50-year-old man from Pleasanton was arrested for public intoxication and taken to jail.

Burglary

2 p.m., Jan. 16, Miramontes Point Road

A burglar reportedly entered a house through an open window to steal a laptop. The owner discovered the theft several hours later, but had no idea who could have committed the crime.

2:34 a.m., Jan. 21, Cañada Cove Avenue

A woman believed someone broke into her house and put an unspecified item on her bed. Sheriff’s deputies checked the house door and window and found they were all secure. They also couldn’t find anything odd on her bed.

8:23 p.m., Jan. 17, Eagle Trace Drive

A father called Sheriff’s deputies to report his son stole money off his desk. The son wasn’t home when deputies arrived.

11:45 a.m., Jan. 19, Main Street

A $400 sign was stolen from a property sometime overnight.

11:05 p.m., Jan. 14, Scenic Drive

A complainant played several voicemails for deputies to demonstrate harassing phone calls.

3:54 a.m., Jan. 14, Alta Vista Road

A driver first refused to pull over and then wouldn’t follow orders from Sheriff’s deputies. The driver, a 37-year-old from Sacramento, was arrested for driving drunk and without a license. He was arrested.

10:47 p.m., Jan. 19, Sunshine Valley Road

A 54-year-old man fell off his bike and was injured on the side of the road. Sheriff’s deputies arrived and found the man was drunk, and they delivered him to the hospital.

9:29 a.m., Jan. 16, Culebra Lane

Someone broke a window on the side of a house.

9:05 a.m., Jan. 17, Etheldore Street

A 23-year-old man from Trinidad was arrested after allegedly breaking into three structures. A witness spotted the man and phoned deputies to respond. The suspect was caught with more than $950 in stolen property.

2:32 a.m., Jan. 20, Frontage Road

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 43-year-old man from Campbell for driving drunk. He was delivered to First Chance.

Evading arrest

1:52 a.m., Jan. 21, Young Avenue

Two men took off in a car after being tailed by a Sheriff’s patrol car. Deputies wanted to pull over the vehicle after seeing it swerve across the road. After a chase, the two men in the car opened their doors and ran away on foot. Deputies were unable to catch them.

8:50 p.m., Jan. 19, Capistrano Road

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 25-year-old man from San Francisco for public drunkenness.

11:39 p.m., Jan. 20, Capistrano Road

A 64-year-old man from Princeton was arrested for being aggressive and intoxicated. He was booked into jail.
