A collision shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday snarled traffic on Highway 92 for the rest of the afternoon. The California Highway Patrol expected to have the scene clear by about 4:45 p.m.

The accident pitted one big-rig truck against another at about 2:18 p.m., according to CHP spokesman Art Montiel. The accident occurred in the eastbound lanes near Pilarcitos Creek.

Montiel said there were no injuries, but one of the trucks was rendered immobile by the collision. Traffic was moving slowly with one-way traffic control through the afternoon but stopped entirely at about 4 p.m. as crews worked to remove the trucks.
