Along with purchasing healthy fruits and vegetables at this weekend’s Farmers Market in Half Moon Bay, you can get other aspects of your health checked over by a handful of registered nurses who will be there to do just that.

Home Care by the Sea, based in Half Moon Bay, is organizing a health booth at the market. There, nurses and a respiratory therapist will perform blood pressure checks, conduct diabetes screenings, run pulse oximetry to check the levels of oxygen in the blood, and more.

The market will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at Shoreline Station, and the nurses will be there during that time.

For more information, call (650) 560-9844.
