Air Force Reserve 2nd Lt. Dave Lessani has graduated from Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training (SUPT) at Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi. He earned silver wings with an aeronautical rating of pilot.
He is the son of David and Lorraine Lessani of Half Moon Bay.
Student pilots begin the 52-week SUPT program with a three-week preflight phase that consists of academic and physiology training. That is followed by a phase-two primary training conducted in T-37 Tweet aircraft.
