Detectives from the sexual-crimes unit of the Sheriff’s Office are tight-lipped about details of the sexual assault, a generic term that can include rape along with lesser crimes.
“There’s a lot here we can’t reveal because of the nature of a sex crime,” said Detective Brain Raffaelli. “If we had pertinent information, then believe me, we’d get that out there in the public.”
