11:27 p.m., July 19, The Alameda

San Mateo County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a drunken juvenile involved in an altercation with a family member. Deputies transported the youth to Seton Medical Center Coastside due to his level of intoxication.

Half Moon Bay

Assault

10:55 a.m., July 22, Lewis Foster Drive

A teenage girl at Half Moon Bay High School reportedly grabbed another female student and tried to punch her. The victim wasn’t injured.

8 pm., July 22, Valencia Street

An adult male reportedly pushed his mother, making her fall over onto the floor. The woman later complained of pain on her side. Police were called to respond, but the suspected attacker had left the area. The mother issued a restraining order against her son.

Disturbance

1:40 p.m., July 23, Lewis Foster Drive

A man was reportedly yelling obscenities at random strangers passing by.

7:39 p.m., July 26, Metzgar Street

Three young men were arrested for fighting in public while drunk.

Fraud

1:39 p.m., July 22, Seymour Street

A Half Moon Bay business reported someone was using their bank account numbers to create fake checks. The fraudulent check were being sent through Connecticut and then wired to Texas.

Missing child

7:38 a.m., July 26, Vasquez Drive

Two teenage boys ran to a relative’s home, saying they no longer wanted live with their father. Police returned the two boys to their father’s custody. The boys’ father told police he had recently grounded his sons severely for bad grades.

Restraining order

8:05 p.m., July 22, Third Avenue

A woman reported her ex-boyfriend was driving by her home in violation of a restraining order filed against him. She also believed he had been sending text messages to family members.

Theft

10 p.m., July 22, Highway 92

A 62-year-old woman from El Granada was caught stealing item from a store. Security guards placed the woman under citizen’s arrest after spotting her leaving with about $50 in unpaid merchandise.

11 a.m., July 27, Highway 1

Someone removed the entire door to a horse paddock to steal a weed wacker and metal welder, valued at about $1,300.

Threats

3:07 p.m., July 21, Willow Avenue

A customer said she has been receiving threats from a retail company after she decided she no longer wanted an item she ordered for delivery. The company reportedly demanded payment on her purchase.

Vandalism

2:25 a.m., July 23, Main Street

An unknown person broke the front door window of a downtown business.

6 a.m., July 23, Monte Vista

Someone was folding over license plates on vehicles. Bending the license plates apparently caused a painful cut to the vandal — droplets of blood were found around both cars.

8:45 a.m., July 25, Myrtle Street

A car and a nearby stop sign were both sprayed with gold paint.

6 p.m., July 25, Highway 1

Gang-related graffiti was spotted on the side of a business.

1 p.m., July 27, Main Street

Spray-paint graffiti was found on a business sign and a nearby tree.

Moss Beach

Fire

1:34 p.m., July 17, Lancaster Avenue

Deputies say juveniles playing with fireworks were responsible for a small grass fire. An off-duty police officer was credited with extinguishing the blaze.

Princeton

Indecent exposure

4:47 p.m., July 20, West Point Avenue

A man reportedly exposed himself to two women while at the beach. Deputies did not find the man.
