Charles Lateur

Charles Lateur, formerly of Half Moon Bay, died recently in New Mexico. Mr. Lateur was 56 years old and died of kidney and liver malfunction. Mr. Lateur is survived by his parents, and by his two sons, Adam and Josh. A memorial service will be held on June 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church in Pacifica.

A new chapter for Woo school
Ed Wilkinson stands in the entryway of the El Granada school that carries his name. The tiled floor sweeps past open classroom doors; outside, grassy hills slope down to the sea. The building is small but the ambience is vast, in a way that mirrors the school.
