John A. O’s. Phillpotts died Sunday, 26 April 2009 in Gloversville, New York at the age of 85. John was born in Spanishtown, Jamaica to Lena and Chester Phillpotts on 20 December 1923. He married Margaret K. Alden of Surrey, England in 1956 and immigrated to the United States to settle in Montara, California and raise his family. He was an avid woodworker, horticulturist and he loved to travel. He is survived by his children Kevin, Kim, Zeo and Evelyn, siblings Joshua, Eben, Ruth, Naomi and Allan. John was loved by us all and will be deeply missed. We look forward to the day when we will all be reunited-1 Corinthians. 15: 21 & 22.
