Micky L. Hinthorn

Micky L. Hinthorn went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

on the morning of April 2, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Wayne Hinthorn, and her

brother Hagop Terzagian of San Juan Capistrano.

She worked for Simon and Schuster and attended Columbia University

before attending the University of Southern California where she

graduated with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy (OT). She was a registered

OT. She started the OT Department of the Children’s Health Council in

Palo Alto. She also held an M.B.A. from the College of Notre Dame,

Belmont.

She loved the Coastside and was an active worker and supporter of

many causes and people. She was particularly active in the American

Association of University Women (AAUW) and the Coastside Women's

Club, in the area of local scholarships. She also worked for several years

on the Coastside Fireworks Fundraising Committee.

She was a former president of the San Mateo AAUW, and she founded

the Belmont Friends of the Library.

Graveside services were held at Alta Mesa in Palo Alto on April 9, and a

memorial service may be held at a later date.
