A cut-off 911 call sent officers to a domestic dispute late in the evening Thursday that involved a resident who believed that intruders were invading his Monte Vista Lane home. The man’s wife called for police after her 29-year-old husband started “hallucinating and acting crazy,” wandering the house with a baseball bat because he said a stranger was inside. The man, identified as Jesus Sanchez, ripped the phone cord from the wall during his wife’s call, and began threatening her with the bat, demanding to know where the stranger was hiding. Officers who arrived at the home arrested the man for several charges, including making threats, having a deadly weapon and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
