Two girls at Half Moon Bay High School were involved in a fight, reportedly over some comments one girl overheard the other saying last week. The 15-year-old girl attacked the other. Police responded the next day and interviewed the two girls, finding no injuries. Neither girl wanted to press charges, but the case is being forwarded to the district attorney and could result in assault charges.

A 27-year-old driver was pulled over for talking on a cell phone while driving. The driver had bigger problems than a cell phone citation — police determined he was unlicensed and uninsured.

A 28-year-old driver was arrested after county dispatch warned local police about his erratic driving on the highway. Police say the man was drunk and that he didn’t have a driver’s license.

A 44-year-old driver struck a traffic light off the highway. The man was slightly injured from the accident, and police determined he was also drunk.

Someone entered a home and stole checks and credit cards. The credit cards were used at several locations and the burglar also apparently wrote two checks, using a fake California ID card.

Suspects stole a checkbook and forged checks totaling $2,500.
