Born November 16, 1951 in Oakland, Calif. and died on December 30, 2008 of natural causes in Half Moon Bay. Beloved son of Leonard and Eleanor Barnes of Walnut Creek, Gary attended Del Valle High School and later San Francisco State University. He worked for Longs Drugs store for many years, retiring in 2005 as manager of the Half Moon Bay store. Gary was active in the community, loved the mountains, skiing, fishing and the company of his many friends. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
