Woman battles with McDonald'€™s drive-thru attendant.

 A 42-year-old woman waiting at the drive-thru window got into a verbal fight with employees at the Highway 1 McDonald’s on Thursday afternoon. Police were called out to control the woman, who gave the officers false identification. The woman, a Half Moon Bay resident, was later determined to be driving under a suspended license, and was also cited for obstructing officers, giving false information and failing to use a safety seat for her 3-year-old child.

A woman’s bank account numbers were used to make $828 in purchases over the Internet. The woman said she never lost her ATM card and didn’t know how her account number was compromised.

10 a.m., Dec. 13, Isabella Road

A unknown person threw eggs at a car and also scratched up the rear and front bumpers.

A person claimed a local transient has been attacking his mind over great distances. Officers took a report for information only.

A 43-year-old driver pulled over for a license plate violation was found to have a small amount of marijuana.

A 35-year-old driver was observed driving erratically, weaving over the fog lines on the highway. The driver was pulled over and officers determined he was drunk.

Dumping complaint

2:57 p.m., Dec. 12, Kelly Avenue

Store employees complained that someone was leaving trash and other items in their Dumpster.

Medical call

3 p.m., Dec. 11, Highway 1

Bystanders flagged down an officer to check on a driver believed to be suffering from a stroke. The driver was found to be OK.

Soliciting lewd services

6:42 p.m., Dec. 10, Miramontes Avenue

A man was reported soliciting a “lewd act” from a woman. Police were contacted by the woman but could not locate the man. 

Theft

3 p.m., Dec. 1, Church Street

A cell phone was stolen by a Cunha Intermediate School student, who gave the phone to two of his classmates. All were aware that the phone was stolen.

6:30 p.m., Dec. 8, Highway 1

Someone stole a cash box from a business along Highway 1. The box contained about $250 in cash and $150 in Starbucks gift certificates.

10:55 a.m., Dec. 10, Main Street

Three students who skipped out on class were located by police officers and returned to school.

Vandalism

Dec. 10, Coastal Trail

Graffiti was found in two locations along the Coastal Trail. The city Public Works Department was contacted to clean it up.

A $15,000 misdemeanor warrant was served on a 30-year-old man who was then taken to jail.

12:58 a.m., Dec. 10, Highway 1

A driver stopped for speeding down the highway showed strong signs of being drunk. The driver was arrested and taken to jail.

Theft

3:53 p.m., Dec. 6, Beach Way

Both rear and front license plates were stolen off a 2000 Toyota Camry.

4:42 p.m., Dec. 5, West Point Avenue

Two separate incidents targeted real estate signs along West Point Avenue, both possibly done by the same person. Somebody stole one real estate sign and post, while another was set on fire. The two incidents caused $220 of losses.

Unincorporated San Mateo County

Burglary

12:12 p.m., Dec. 10, Highway 1

A steel ball bearing was thrown at a car’s driver’s side window, shattering the glass and allowing the burglar to enter it. It seemed, however, that nothing was taken from the car.
