Half Moon Bay City Councilman John Muller has been re-appointed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board.

The nine-member water board makes decisions regarding water standards, waste discharge requirements and enforcement of those guidelines.

The 62-year-old Muller has served on the regional water board since 1995. His appointment to serve on the water board for another term will still have to be confirmed by the state Senate.
