James Bernard Doyal, WW II Navy Veteran, retired Lawrence Radiation Lab fireman, and lifelong fisherman, died Thursday October 2, 2008 in Half Moon Bay.

Born in Texas in 1923, Jim spent most of the last 28 years fishing his beloved HMB waters from the Wahoo and then sharing his bounty with many friends including: Karma, Wendy, Barbara, Katie, John, Sally and Gina.

Survivors include: Son James Lee Doyal (Nickie) N.C. Four granddaughters: Cindy Doyal N.C., Sarah Mikos (Chris) Ariz., Deborah Miles (Jeremy) Neb., Colleen Johnson (Ben) N.C. Also 9 great-grandchildren: Alyson, Gage, Emilee, Cole, Kyle, Caden, Delia, Brock, and James.
