David Tiran

Published/Last Modified on Wednesday, Oct 15, 2008 - 02:44:31 pm PDT

David was born and raised in Pacifica, California and was a resident of Half Moon Bay for the past 15 years. David was always there for the community — volunteering, always ready to tell a joke and make people laugh and smile. David enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, the outdoors, joke books and, most of all, helping others. David was a man devoted to his family and compassionate to all those around him.

Loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and always a dear friend. He will be missed very much.

Visita y vilacion/visitation for friends: Thursday, Oct. 16, 5 p.m. and Vigil, 7 p.m., Our Lady of the Pillar. La misa y entierro/Funeral Mass: Friday, Oct. 17, 12:30 p.m., La Iglesia Catolica Nuestra Señora del Pilar.

A special thanks to all who helped with the search and rescue.
