The LPGA Samsung World Golf Championship tees it up for the first time at the Ocean Course of the Half Moon Bay Golf Links, starting Thursday.

Here’s everything you need to know to see the finest women golfers in the world.  Tee times are at 11:40 a.m. Thursday and Friday. The tournament starts at 7:45 a.m. Saturday and 9:10 a.m. Sunday.

An awards ceremony takes place Sunday following the conclusion of the tournament. If there is a tie at the end of Sunday’s round, extra holes will be played until a winner can be determined.

There are still plenty of tickets available. The cost at the venue is $29 for each of the first two rounds, and $34 for the final two rounds. For further information, call 1 (888) 345-5722 or visit, http://pages.samsung.com/us/golf/tickets.html.

Parking is available at Nurserymen’s Exchange behind Cameron’s Restaurant and Inn and at Smith Field. There is a $5 charge. Shuttle buses will take fans from parking lots to the venue and back.

There will be no parking allowed on Highway 1. Authorities warn that those who do run the risk of being cited and towed. Parking enforcement will be stepped up beginning today and running through Sunday.

t The weather should be comfortable. It’s expected to be cloudy Thursday and Friday. Temperatures could range from the high 60s to the low 70s. Fans should dress in layers. Small backpacks will be allowed so that fans can pack sunscreen and a light jacket.

t Outside food will not be allowed. There will be on-site concession stands, serving food as well as souvenirs. Major credit cards will be accepted.

t Cell phones are allowed, but organizers ask that they be set to silent or vibrate mode.

t Cameras will be allowed today, during the pro-am. No cameras will be allowed once the tournament starts Thursday.
