Elizabeth M. Strobel

Elizabeth Strobel, former Half Moon Bay resident, died on Sept. 9, 2008, at the age of 89. Born in Ashland, Wis., moved to San Francisco in 1964 and resided in the Bay Area until her death. She is survived by her two sons Damian C. Sequoia of San Francisco and Fred M. Strobel of South San Francisco, her daughter, Betty Strobel of Half Moon Bay, Calif., her sister Sarah J. Reykdal of Washburn, Wis., and brother Thomas K. Notton of Houston, Texas, plus three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Superior, Wis., next to her husband, Fred Strobel, and near her parents and various other family members.
