Judith Ann Dunham, 70 (November 1, 1937 - July 22, 2008)

Judith Ann Dunham, a 20-year resident of Half Moon Bay, passed peacefully in her sleep at Seton Medical Center on July 22, after a seven-year illness from complications of small-cell lung cancer. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University and completed her master’s degree and Ph.D. studies at Georgetown University. She taught high school and college, was a real estate broker for over 25 years, and loved to travel throughout Asia and Europe. She lived her life with great passion and determination, and was a loving and generous wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jan Elliott, and her sons Joey and Timothy. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Dale; her beloved children, Terri, Tami, Daley and Tom; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. In accordance with Judy’s wishes, her ashes will be scattered off the Pacific coast. A Celebration of Life is planned for the middle of August.
