A veteran of WWII, he participated in the D-Day invasions of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. He received many commendations and medals for his service in the European theater. He was also a longtime member of Teamsters Local Union No. 216.
An avid gardener, he loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time at the harbor and being with his family.

There will be a public visitation at Miller-Dutra on Wednesday, June 4 at 4:00 p.m. and a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. There will be a funeral Mass on Thursday, June 5 at 11:00 a.m.
