Harry Weistrop

Harry Weistrop, loving husband of the late Elizabeth Nealon Weistrop (1999), and father of Elizabeth (Betsy) Weistrop and the late Kathleen (“Debby”) Weistrop (2007). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A native of New York City, New York, Harry served in WWII in the Army Air Force. He worked as an attorney for many years in Half Moon Bay and was involved in his wife’s art.

There will be a funeral service on Thursday, May 1, at 11 a.m. at Miller-Dutra. The interment will be held at Skylawn Memorial. Friends are welcome to visit on Wednesday, April 30, between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Miller-Dutra.

Much to the delight of fair-weather hikers, both early and late-season wildflowers are blooming together in the hills and grasslands in what can be described as a compacted season. The reason may be a colder, drier spring that has kept seeds from germinating in cool soils.
