HOMEOWNER FINDS MOLD CLEANUP LEAVES HER HOUSE ALL WET

Sometimes you can't win for losing. A woman called police to report a home repair gone wrong on Sailfish Avenue on Feb. 11. She said she hired a company to dry out her home, which had problems with mold. Unfortuantely, someone left the faucet running, which she said negated the work to remove the mold. She called police because she wanted the incident documented.

EL GRANADA

Warrants

9:10 p.m., Feb. 2, Francisco Street

A woman called the Sheriff's Office to report that her drunken husband had left the house with their kids. Deputies found the man, with his kids, at a relative's house and he was not intoxicated. A records check on both adults found the woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant. She was booked into county jail.

HALF MOON BAY

Missing person

1:40 p.m., Feb. 5, First Street

Police contacted a 26-year-old man from Missouri after the man was reported missing. The man promised to call family to let them know he was OK and he was removed from the missing persons system.

Theft

4:10 p.m., Feb. 5,

Police station

A woman reported what she believed were two fraudulent ATM withdrawals from her account.

Truancy

12:48 p.m., Feb. 11, Highway 1

Officers found two truant juveniles and transported them back to school.

Vandalism

Feb. 4, 11:15 a.m., Lewis Foster Drive

Juveniles reportedly drove their cars through a grassy area, doing about $550 worth of damage. The kids promised to have the damage repaired and the school declined to prosecute.

Viscious dog

5:05 p.m., Feb. 11, Belleville Boulevard

Someone called police to say that two dogs attacked another dog. Police found the owners, who contained all of the animals.

Warrants

3:37 p.m., Feb. 7, Main Street

An officer on foot patrol happened upon a man known to have outstanding warrants for his arrest. The 30-year-old man also had marijuana on him at the time. He was transported to county jail.

MOSS BEACH

Burglary

12 p.m., Feb. 4, California Avenue

Someone entered a locked vehicle, taking the victim's wallet and iPod. Suspects later used the victim's ATM card in a grocery store in San Francisco.

PESCADERO

Warrants

5:24 a.m., Jan. 31, Pescadero Creek Road

Deputies stopped to check on a man walking on the side of the road. He said he was visiting a friend. Deputies learned he was wanted on a warrant out of Santa Cruz County and he was transported to county jail.

UNINCORPORATED SAN MATEO COUNTY

Drugs

1:11 a.m., Feb. 2, Highway 1

Police stopped a couple from the East Bay and ended up arresting Robert Ewing and Christina Romero, both 22, on a variety of drug offenses. Deputies say they smelled marijuana within the car and found the drug along with 23 bottles of Lorazepam, 26 bottles of Temazepam and nine bottles of codeine cough syrup inside the car. Ewing and Romero were taken to county jail.

Vandalism

2:30 p.m., Feb. 3, Elderberry Road

A woman told deputies someone shattered the windshield of her parked car.
