A good Samaritan driving along Highway 1 watched as someone threw an object out of a car window at about 1:35 a.m., Sept. 16, smashing the rear window of a parked car. The Samaritan followed the suspects and wrote down the license plate number, turning that information over to the victim.

Deputies arrested a 45-year-old woman from La Quinta after she rolled through a stop sign. She admitted that she had had half a bottle of wine to drink and she failed field sobriety tests.

7:30 a.m., Sept. 20, Lomitas Avenue
A citizen told police that his car was stolen in South San Francisco. He reported it to Half Moon Bay Police because that is where he was when he learned of the theft. The case was forwarded to South San Francisco Police.
Disturbance
2:54 p.m., Sept. 18, Highway 1
Police took a report of a dust-up between a parent and a teenage son. No action was taken.
11:04 p.m., Sept. 21, South Cabrillo Highway
Police were called to a large party. The police report isn't yet complete.
Noise complaint
9:40 p.m., Sept. 20, Miramontes Point Road
A resident called about loud noise coming from a restaurant. Restaurant management was told to tone it down.
Suspicious circumstance
9 a.m., Sept. 14, Loryn Lane
A suspicious text message sent to a juvenile spawned a call to police. A parent was worried that a predator might be stalking the child. Police determined the sender was either another juvenile or that the text was sent to the wrong number by accident.
12:49 p.m., Sept. 22, North Cabrillo Highway
A store employee reported that the business's alarm went off after a large group left the store.
Vandalism
9:57 a.m., Sept. 21, Miramontes Point Road
An officer was called about vandalism to a roadside sign. Caltrans was called to repair the sign.

11:13 a.m., Sept. 15, Stetson Street
A resident reported that sometime overnight someone entered the resident's occupied home and took a Rolex watch, a camera and a bracelet.
PRINCETON
Drugs
4:20 p.m., Sept. 15, Howard Street
Deputies stopped a car for a vehicle code infraction and smelled marijuana inside the car. The driver was cited for possession of marijuana without incident.
6:46 a.m., Sept. 18, Yale Avenue
Deputies stopped a car for a vehicle code infraction and found 32-year-old Jesse Lee Kemper in possession of "a white crystalline-like substance" that tested positive for methamphetamine. Kemper also had three outstanding warrants. He was taken to county jail.
