But even if you go to the local library you are likely to get caught up in the excitement.

The second-place winner gets a copy of the book, and the third-place winner gets a smaller portion of jelly beans.
Malley said she was pulled into Pottermania by her niece who, at 8, read the first Potter novel in a day.
Now she and her husband read Potter stories to their 8-year-old son - at least until evil villain Lord Voldemort comes onto the scene. "When Voldemort comes in, we have to stop," she said.
For the few young readers who have not fallen under the Potter spell, Moon News Bookstore owner Mark Sipowicz offers some alternatives.
Try "The Chronicles of Narnia" by C.S. Lewis, "Bridge to Terabithia" by Katherine Paterson, Philip Pullman's "Dark Materials" series, the Lemony Snicket "Series of Unfortunate Events," or the Eragon fantasies by Christopher Paolini.
