'PC HEALTH CHECK' NOW AVAILABLE ON COAST

Reece Computer Systems of Half Moon Bay last week unveiled its "PC Health Check" service, created to help clients reduce costs, learn to better protect their computers, and decrease their dependence on computer service vendors.

"No one can ensure your computer will work without defect, but you can learn good computing habits that help you protect your children, your data, save you time and money, and restore your peace of mind," said Randy Reece, chief executive officer for Reece Computer Systems in a release.

A PC Health Check is a two-hour, educational service to introduce clients to the basics of computer maintenance. A technician will assess the client's computer security, efficiency, system backups, and networking and communications situation. Clients receive a 10-point risk assessment and a guide to good computing habits, to ensure they have the basic tools they need to begin a good health regimen.

For details, call Reece Computer Systems at 726-7155.

'BANDIT' OFFERS DOG WALKING

Bandit is now offering dog-walking services on the coast.

Actually, the business belongs to the people attached to Bandit, a flat-coated retriever and New Finland mix.

Owners Denise and Chuck Rundle say Bandit's Dog Walking Services will provide plenty of exercise for the dogs under their charge. Denise Rundle said in a release that she plans walks in Coastside neighborhoods, up in the hills and on the beach.

Bandit's specializes in behavior training for all dogs, and pet-sitting for dogs under 15 pounds.

"I encourage owners to come to my home and see where their dog will be living ... in the house, free to roam, never crated or kenneled," Denise Rundle said.

For more information, call Denise at 712-8115 or (415) 860-7240.
