"Doodledings" almost barks for dogs and owners to come inside and enjoy a "yappy meal," which consists of a burger, fries and a squeaky toy. The dog bakery offers all sorts of yummy treats, such as peanut butter wontons and hot dogs.
The bakery products are made from all-natural and organic ingredients and are manufactured exclusively for Doodledings by a top caterer in San Francisco. Prices run from $1.50 to $2 depending upon the treat.

Sir Ecko, a Yorkshire terrier is the male CEO and little Miss Broadway, a Shih Tzu and Maltese mix, is his partner. Gizmo, though, is the true inspiration and creative force behind the company. Gizmo is a fluffy, white Pekinese whom Chew and Bent credit with dreaming up the store during a culinary arts school trip to France.
"The store is an interesting and unique concept," Bent said.
Doodledings originated on Broadway in Burlingame. Chew said that after disastrous building mishaps, she was forced to move her company. Chew is an El Granada resident and is pleased to have her store on this side of the hill.
"It's nice to work in a town that is so receptive," Chew said. "Everyone here has been so supportive of the company since Day 1. We are very lucky. Our store is a nice compliment to Kibbles 'n Gifts."
The new store, located at 265 Main St., is as fancy as a true French boutique and bakery. The walls are a soft lavender rose and many items are displayed in whitewashed armoires and antique-looking tables.
Doodledings offers a variety of high-end dog products. The store has Paul Mitchell dog shampoo and bottled water called "hose water." The water comes in a variety of flavors, including lamb. Doodledings also offers dog beds, dog bags, dog clothes and dog armoires.
"This wedding dress here is the one Lulu wore in her wedding to Ecko," Bent said, pulling a doggie dress from the shelf. "It was made by 'Vera Wag.'"
Along with dog products, the store is also carrying a small selection for cats. Right now, Doodledings offers the basics, such as catnip, cat toys and "pitter patter" candy for kitties. They are in the process of creating a "meow meal."
"Right now we only have about half of our merchandise," Bent explained.
The store also offers a variety of events for dogs and their human friends. Chew puts on children's birthday parties called "Stuff-a-pup." The kids pick out the animal shell they prefer and a machine fills the shell with stuffing. Then the kids can dress their stuffed animals in clothes and they get to take their new "pet" home. Also, the store hosts a "Mommy and Me" fashion show for the dogs and their owners.
Perhaps the most beloved event held by the store is what Chew calls "Yappy Hour." The store's owners hope to hold regular "Yappy Hours," Friday afternoons from 5 to 7.
"At the Burlingame store we would have up to 25 dogs and their owners. We chat, have appetizers and sometimes we serve margaritas, depending on the day," Bent said. "We take very good care of our customers, and sometimes their owners."
