Airport upgrade

After being installed by crane yesterday afternoon, the new 12,000 gallon aviation gas tank at the Moss Beach Airport continued to get some fine tuning early Thursday morning. Although the old tank was only seven years old, coastal weather had rapidly taken an adverse toll on its exterior. Airport administration expects that the new tank, with its more efficient upgrades, will last twice as long.
